Public Space needs to be adaptable to the needs of the public at any given moment. Occupy Wall Street IS the public. So when NYPD forcefully evicts THE PUBLIC from OUR own space, the needs that are being served are NOT those of the public, but rather those of the wealthy and powerful, soon-to-be-extinct dinosaurs of the olden days, whose time has finally come.
