Snafu’s Dispatch: GreenStreets Is Watching

“Launched in 1996, Greenstreets is a citywide program to convert paved, vacant traffic islands and medians into green spaces filled with shade trees, flowering trees, shrubs, and groundcover.”   – NYC.GOV

This 4 foot by 4 foot by 2 foot triangle of dirt on Fulton Street in Brooklyn is the saddest little greenstreet I’ve ever seen… We can do better!
